What is Muay Thai?
Muay Thai is a combat sport from Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. It is known as "the art of eight limbs" because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins.

Why Muay Thai?

Instead of running mindlessly on the treadmill, Muay Thai has consistently been proven to be a top martial art for those looking to lose weight fast, and to build a physique that is wanted by many: lean, muscular yet not large, and with a focus on core and lower body strength.

Why American Muay Thai?

American Muay Thai is much more than Muay Thai in America. At American MuayThai we train the combined techniques of traditional muay thai, Dutch style kickboxing, and good American boxing. By combining these styles, we develop more effective strikers because they are able to use great boxing while also using angles to effectively set up kicks and knees.
